On Technology, Innovation and Law
Technology is about embracing change. In today’s new media environment, creativity and artistic expression is infused with innovation. We are living in a momentous period in world history. A period where art, music, film, gaming, fashion, photography, publishing, and journalism all harken back to that great industrial age. We are witnesses to the digital revolution.
Technology, innovation and design shows such tremendous promise. Advances in medical science continues to make significant contributions around the world. However, disruption and innovation is not without risk.
I hope to highlight technology’s promise, but there’s a complicated side to technological innovation. The discussion includes the ethical use of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. It’s a story at the intersection of new technology and the law leading us to difficult conversations involving racism, profiling, discrimination, and bias.
At a time when the prevailing view is that we are well past such evils, we may have to exercise some caution. This is where I hope to join the conversation.
I hope you will join me on this journey.

Read more: Gratitude, at its essence, is an acknowledgment of connection—an emotional recognition that we are seen, valued, or remembered. To send someone a gift is to express this recognition tangibly. It’s a symbolic act that communicates: I thought of you. I value you. I want to offer something of myself—whether time, effort, or care.
