In recent years, I have expanded my practice and scholarship to focus on global privacy and data protection, artificial intelligence, online safety, and technology governance. As the author of Perspectives: Technology, Global Privacy & Data Protection Law and It’s Personal: Children, Privacy, Technology & the Law, I examine evolving privacy and technology laws, including the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, and emerging AI regulation. My work considers how these legal requirements translate into responsible business and technology practices, with particular attention to children’s privacy and online safety, responsible innovation, digital trust, and the protection of individuals in an increasingly data-driven environment.
